    Xbox Completely down for me.


    (Originally, I posted this last night. But not in this main area.) So, I was playing a game, and my Xbox suddenly shut down. No power outage here. I tried to plug it into another outlet to be sure. The Xbox will no longer turn on. I had just downloaded the new update. It is not powering on, there is no lights, no anything. I will say the Xbox was very hot. I mean almost burning to touch the plastic top. It did not get that hot before the update. It would get warm but not burning. The fan was running and not very loud. So no obstruction. It was running at a typical speed for any day I play. I make sure to clean it every few days. I use an alcohol swab on the top because it dries very quickly and no water can get inside that way. It just died or something. Now I have no Xbox to play on. What do I do? (Tried again just now as well and it still will not turn on.)

    held power button to turn off xbox and when it came back on it worked. I tried just normal restart of xbox which did not work. stupid xbox

    XBOX ONE powers off unexpectedly

    Mine hasn't shut down on me while using it, but it has shut down completely on me a couple times while in stand by. I was getting frustrated when "xbox on" wasn't working, it was because the system was off. Happened to me twice so far. It's annoying.
