    XBox Communication Ban Standards are Horrendous


    I have a huge problem with Xbox's policies for suspending accounts. No context is taken into consideration. I was playing a game, where a player was harassing me in game. I was being shot by my own teammate in Rainbow Six Siege over and over again. After reverse friendly fire was turned on, He followed me around the entire game shooting his shotgun near my character's head and getting in my way, ruining my entire experience. I eventually told him to 'F*** off' and Xbox's horrendous AI suspended my communication for 24 hours.

    1. Why am I unable to communicate with my own friends because of an action that I supposedly committed against a stranger?
    2. Why is context not a consideration at all in your bans? You're allowing for trolls to control your community. This person was, I guarantee, not offended by my language. Please, give me a break.
    3. Why am I not allowed to repeal this action? Why is there no way to discuss with anyone directly about this event?
    4. I want a refund for the time you have taken away from my account. I don't care how small the amount of money it is. I request a refund on principle.

    I don't see any reason why you would get banned for changing regions as long as you're following the community standards for Xbox and the game you're playing.

    Hello all bans are checked over to make sure you are following the Xbox Community Standards.

    Bans do not happen automatically. If you feel like they have made a mistake you can request a case review if you are able to not every ban is entitled to requesting a case review

    Why does the enforcement team not punish cheaters or even look into it or review my documentation of people cheating. Let players use profanity towards me.

    Hi Noah, So the way a ban work is the xbox team investigates every report. If you were banned you had to of violated the Xbox Terms of Service in some way. The terms of service or xbox community-standards can be read here at link I have provided. Hope this helps

    There isn't one set thing that constitutes a permanent ban.

    But I'd recommend familiarizing yourself with the
    Xbox Community Standards    to avoid further enforcement action in the future.
