Im getting the Xbos-0x80169CF9 error.

Error code is displayed when trying to use a pre paid Xbox Live subscription code when your Xbox Live gold is still in effect. You must wait for the subscription period to end before you can use the code. Pre Paid subscription codes cannot be used to extend
an Xbox Live subscription, only activate it

This code only applies if the main payment instrument the subscription is tied to has been removed before the subscription has ended. You can use these codes to extend memberships, but in this scenario you will need to hang in there until your membership
expires.
