    Tried to redeem it via Xboxone store and via xbox live code redemption, same error.

    Are you trying to redeem the code via the Xbox One, 360 or through the web site. If the One it wont work as it a code for the 360. If through a 360 then please check out

    support.xbox.com/.../error-code-lookup     and enter 0x80153016 and see if that resolves your problem.
