    Xbox.com profile changes not saving


    So I accidentally turned off "you can join multiplayer games" as I still get random bots adding me with fake accounts and trying to make everything private so they cant add me. So now I cant join multiplayer games. Im not banned, nor do i have any xbox enforcement suspensions currently and I sold my Xbone a few years ago. so RIP fixing it from a console. Now I cant play Halo MCC on STEAM or HW2 off the windows store. Two games I paid FULL PRICE for. But every other game in my library is fine.

    This **** is why I STOPPED gaming on consoles and stopped supporting MS.

    Hi,

    Please try the following steps:

    - Sign into your profile on Xbox.com

    - Make a change to your Avatar and save.

    - Attempt to download your profile and sign in, save password.

    How do I change the Microsoft Account?

    1. Sign in with your profile on xbox.com
    2. Select "My Account" at the top right corner near your gamer picture.
    3. Under Settings & Preferences select Contact Preferences
    4. Change your email and save the changes

    Trouble updating gamer picture on website

    1. When I got to My Account on xbox.com, I see a different gamer picture than the one I saved. When I view my profile on xbox.com, I see two different gamer pictures on the same page!

    2. How is a normal user supposed to know that saving a picture on xbox.com actually worked when the pictures on xbox.com aren't updated to the saved picture.

    3. How is a normal user supposed to know that a picture is saved one place and not another.

    4. How is a normal user supposed to know that he/she then has to change the public gamer picture on the Xbox 360 itself.

    5. Why is the entire process so complicated and convoluted.

    Thank you for posting her eon the Xbox forums. Try resyncing your account to your profile.

    Make a change to your avatar on Xbox.com

    Note Any avatar change will do because the change causes the service to sync your account for your profile.

    1. Go to the
      Avatar Editor      .
    2. Sign in and make any change to your avatar.
    3. Click SAVE.
    If this does not work, try logging into Xbox.com first, then try on your console again.
