So i got communication banned because in a joking way i sent a message to my friend who is actually [Mod Removed-Profanity] a message saying
[Mod Removed-Profanity]

Why is this so bad moderators why is it bad saying someone is [Mod Removed-Profanity] in a joking way when i know them, what do you have against
[Mod Removed-Profanity].

You do understand that you were reported for what you wrote, and that an investigation took place to determine the validity of the complaint?

If it was written to a friend why did he report you?

Also, Xbox live enforcement do not use the forums to reply to people.

 

we cant tell if you're joking with the person or not due to the fact that the context was just a message saying "your gay" and if it was your friend a report wouldn't of been sent in.

 

Even if you sent the message "in a joking way", your friend seemed offended by the message and reported it.

The report had the message attached as evidence, and when the Enforcement Team reviewed the report with the message, they came to the conclusion that your message violated the code of conduct.

Even though your friend is actually [Mod Removed-Profanity], he felt offended enough to report your message, and the Enforcement team had to act on that report.

How would you feel, if someone sent you a message that makes you feel offended, you report it, and nothing happens, because the sender just says "But it was meant as a joke!".
