Xbox Clubs - Category Change Public to Private

I haven't done too much with xbox clubs but from what I have looked up it sounds like you only have the option to create a private club when it gives you the options when first creating the club. I did some looking myself and both times I created a club,
whether it started out as private or public, there was no way to change the club type when managing the club.

Thanks for coming to the forums with your question. We understand you are trying to change the privacy of the club. Unfortunately, at this time there is not a feature to change this setting. You would need to re-create the club as a private one.

Just like to add, choose the type of club, public, private or hidden, wisely as you can't change that setting later. Also you only get one other chance to change the club name.

Any chance you can try transferring Club ownership form the Xbox app on a Windows 10 PC to see if there's any change?

Also, can you clarify if your club is public or private?

When you go into your Club, you should be able to change the name on the info page after selecting 'customize'.

After clicking on customize, do you receive an error message? If so, then what does it say?

To my understanding, a club can't be switched from public to private. If the Club is just meant for you and a couple friends, then why not create a new one and set it to private.
