Xbox Cloud Saving not working

I have had this problem persistently for a week now, every time I try to play Fable 2 on cloud gaming through my pc it says 'saved games are still uploading on another xbox. If you use cloud saved games in this session, you may lose progress. Allow cloud saves?'

Regardless of whether I click yes or no to this, it will not save any progress if I proceed to load up a saved game and play on. As soon as I quit the game, after saving it (which looks like it works fine), I load it up again the next time and it will not have saved, I will be back to the last save point before. This means I've been unable to play, as it won't let me save. I don't even have another xbox, so I don't know why its saying this and I've only ever played on my PC, so I've not played it on any other pc or console. Just really frustrating when I paid out for the ultimate gamepass and I can't even play what I want to.

I've also found it hard to get answers, I've left feedback when I've quit the game each time it's happened and I've tried the microsoft support pages, but there's no information. I tried the live chat, in which people have suggested things like making sure everythings updated on my pc but honestly I think its a problem with either Fable 2 or cloud streaming because the message doesn't come up for any other games.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi Saalikh,

Thanks for coming to the forums with your question on save data. If the console is an Xbox one all save data is automatically

saved to the cloud. Once you launch the game again it will get the save from the cloud by saying (syncing data for (name of game)).

If the console is an Xbox 360 and you enabled cloud saves then it will work same as Xbox one. If you haven't enabled cloud save, it will delete it completely.

A lot of users have reported this particular issue with Fable savefiles! Microsoft hasn't said anything about it but let's hope that all the feedback gets to them so this issue gets resolved.

Yes it works if you save it in the cloud on the xbox 360

for it to to work 100% you must make a cloud save game any save on the hard drive becomes corrupted use the cloud save and it should work
