    Xbox cloud lag with ethernet cable


    Every time I try to play xbox cloud it lags, although I have an ethernet cable plugged in and it only lags on this computer, I tried it with my sister's pc and it worked perfectly fine, I've tried everything to fix this I don't know what the problem is. Xbox cloud lag with ethernet cable :(

    You should try using a ethernet cable if aren't using one yet

    Ethernet cable helped i was on wireless before rarely lag now

    If you are connected with an ethernet computer cable directly from the Xbox to your Modem when you play, then the lag is an artifact of the modem or of Time Warner. However, I would swap out the ethernet cable first, just to make sure.

    A quick troubleshooting tip: Go Wired. Run an Ethernet cable from the Xbox directly to the router. If that resolves the lag, then the lag is WiFi-related and more signal at the Xbox could help; if it does not, it's in the router itself.

    May i ask what game is causing the lag?

    Also i suggest plugging your Xbox into your router via Ethernet cable. if it continues to lag, you may have a scratched disk.
