XBOX Cloud Gaming will not pull saves from PC

Hello,

I recently switched to game pass ultimate to try out cloud gaming from my iPad. It appears that Cloud gaming does not pull the saves from Fallout 76 (the main reason I wanted to play on the go) and makes me create a new character. I also tried High on Life and Chivalry II, as those are the only other games I have played with save data, still those games required me to restart from the beginning. I have confirmed I am signed into the proper account on both devices, it even shows my icon on the bottom left of the fallout main screen. I wasn't able to find much info about this when researching. Does anyone know if this is a bug or just something related to the "beta" of the service? Do they plan on integrating save transfer in the future of development for the cloud-based platform? Hi,

These games do not support Cross saves. Hence the reason for starting fresh on Xbox Cloud. You can only access PC saves on Xbox Play Anywhere titles.

You can't transfer the 360 Game saves with a USB stick. You will have to put the Saves into the cloud with xbox live gold. If the game is backwards compatible then you can pull that data from the cloud on your xbox one.

I see. Since the game is an Xbox Play Anywhere, it uses the same cloud saves for PC and Xbox version. There's a possiblity that your game progress on cloud will be overwritten if you chose to play the local save from your PC. What you have on the cloud will be resynced to PC and Xbox platform.

I do understand the urgency of you wanting to find other ways for this issue of yours in regards with your saved files. We are very glad to help you out to find some of the best possible options and troubleshooting's that we can provide for you.

For this, we do understand that there are some games that Game Pass will be removed since there are just some limited time for that game to be available on the Game Pass. And as well as, you can as well still play on that game if it is somewhere on different platforms as well if it is on Steam or any other game platforms that you can get to download that game.

What we have understood and isolated is that the game itself is no longer available on PC Game Pass but you have got the other game on Epic Games and that is very well appreciated knowing you tried to find where that game is.

The way for it to recover those save files on that game is if the In-Game settings has an In-Game account syncs. Meaning, when opening and launching that game and you can see you can link your accounts like Xbox, Steam, etc. Then there might be possibilities that it will sync especially if you might use your Xbox Account to link since it is saved on the Xbox Cloud.

Today, you can try to test and see if the game has an In-Game accounts sync and if there is, then you can try to link your account that you have used where the game saves is and see if the data is synced.
