Xbox Cloud Gaming - Now way to clear text in text input field

we have had the same problem, no wireless keyboard is shown to allow User Names and Passwords to be entered, it is so frustrating!!!

All games on Xbox One are designed to use the Xbox One controller, unless explicitly stated otherwise.

I don't even think there are even any games that utilize a keyboard and mouse as a substitute for a controller.

Plugging in a USB keyboard will only help with text input (e.g. typing text messages to send to other players). Plugging in a mouse will do nothing.

You might need to click A in the textbox in order for the keyboard to pop up. It does not always pop up automatically just because there is a text-input field on screen.

Alternatively, if you have a tablet or smartphone with Xbox One Smartglass, you could use that as a keyboard for your console.

It will work straight away for text input during messaging and the likes.

Every time the Xbox would show a virtual keyboard on the screen for text input, the keyboard will work.

As for games, the game has to be specifically made to support keyboards.

Not all games are able to use keyboards.

For example Fortnite and Minecraft are popular examples for games that work with an USB Keyboard and USB mouse.
