Xbox Cloud Gaming - Not Able to Load Saves

Saves that is on the cloud will automatically load when you open the game. Only if you are connected to the internet.

The saves of the cloud gets written over to the last save you made. Previous saves will not be able to be downloaded.

If you saved over a file and it sync to the cloud. You game progress is lost. You can try running the Xbox Offline and see if your able to load the game from the local file.

If that doesnt work delete the local saved file like Parity said and maybe the cloud didnt catch or sync the saved game progress.

I’ve been troubleshooting this issue the past couple days and I’ve seemed to be able to get into the game and at least view the saves.

What I’ve been doing is clearing the local save data on the game, then when opening the game and it syncing the cloud save, you cancel sync around 50-75%. This way it does not load whatever corrupted save you have.

However, I’m still working on being able to load a new save onto the game without the cloud automatically also loading the corrupted save. If you need any help or find useful information for me as well, please share!

Helo ! To access games saved in the cloud, you must be connected to the Xbox network when starting a game. If you disconnect from the network during a game, you can continue to play, but if you are not connected when you exit the game, the saved game will not load in the cloud. You must connect to the Xbox network in order to use the saved game in another console. When you connect to the Xbox network, the saved game is loaded into the cloud.

If the cloud saves are working and have been confirmed as working by being able to load the world up on another Xbox One console, you would then be able to clear local saved data from the console as this would force the game to launch the cloud save therefore
recovering your world on your Xbox One console.
