    Xbox Cloud Gaming "Network Experiencing Issues"


    Okay so I am having an issue with Xbox Cloud Gaming (aka xCloud). I will start by saying I have tried on multiple Android devices, I have fiber internet, I am using 5GHz Wifi, I have used other cloud gaming services (ie. Stadia, and GeForce Now) and they
    work perfectly.

    So my issue is that when I play Xbox Cloud Gaming via the Andoid app I am getting the "Network may be experiencing issues" icon and I see it go from full bars to no bars in a split second (even if I am 2 ft away from the router). What happens is the image
    quality gets very pixelated and is essentially unplayable. I do not experience input lag though. Is there anything I can do to fix this? My thoughts are that this is either an Xbox server issue (Azure I assume) or my ISP is blocking something xCloud is doing
    that is totally different from Google Stadia and Nvidia GeForce Now.

    I had similar issues when playing Xbox Game Pass cloud services on my android phone as well. Trying to screencast wirelessly significantly affects image quality. After buying a USB C to HDMI adapter, and the Samsung Dex app integrated into the phone, game

    As xcloud is still in its infancy like all other services and technologies, there will always be bugs to work out and improvements to apply, so I am sure Microsoft is working on it as they are aware of things and monitoring its performance. Also to consider
    is the number of players for this service at one time can as with any other service cause network congestion, especially with recent events in terms of acquisitions and preorders people are all starting to flood to these new services. Microsoft announce 15
    million gamepass subs so thats quite alot of people now on the cloud.

    Same for me, 100Mbps fiber connection with 10ms ping. Stadia, GeForce Now work perfectly and xCloud gove network issues icon the whole time and causes really bad resolution.

    This isnt a screen issue though, this is a network issue and more specifically seems to be an issue with connection to the Microsoft xCloud server. It seems to be based on location, I'm in Ontario, Canada and others here have the same issue. Network icon
    goes from full bars to no bars every 5 seconds even though i have a steady 5GHz wifi connections with 100Mbps and 10ms ping.

    As of September 24th, this issue still remains for me as well. "Network experiencing issues" icon constantly, on a 5 GHz wifi connection to a 1 Gb Xfinity ISP connection. Every single thing else works just fine, including Stadia.
