    Xbox Cloud Gaming lagging after 10-20 minutes of gameplay on iPhone 12 Pro Max. Any fixes?


    My xcloud runs flawlessly on my iPad, my PC, and Xbox. But when it comes to my iPhone it starts lagging after 10-20 mins of gameplay. For the little time it does run it runs really good. Hardly any input latency, very little to no lag at all. Once the phone gets really hot it starts going down hill from there. It gets choppy with FPS, and input latency is ridiculous. Anyone know of a fix? Is there any settings I should have off in safari? I already have my locations turned off. Web GL in the experimental web kit is off. I don’t know what else to do. And I can’t find anything on google or Reddit about the issues that would help my situation. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I also initially thought that may have been the issue, but my iPhone 12 pro is running the most up to date version iOS 16, same as my iPhone 14 pro max.

    Ive been having this same issue i used to game fine in my iPhone 12 pro but ever since I got my iPhone 14 pro max I haven't been able to remote play on it from anywhere other than right next to my xbox on the same wifi network. So disappointing

    This is one of the major issues with xCloud that I hope are fixed before it is out of beta. This likely has nothing to do with your controller, but is instead just something you have to deal with when playing over a wireless connection.

    I have the same input lag you’re experiencing on my iPad Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max, but do not have this issue when I play on my M1 MacBook Air that is connected to the internet through a wired connection.

    Since xCloud is being heavily advertised for use on mobile devices, let’s hope Microsoft is able to fix this quickly. We’re still in a beta period here.
