Xbox Cloud Gaming lagging after 10-20 minutes of gameplay on iPhone 12 Pro Max. Any fixes?

iPhone XR, iPhone XS, iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max

I also initially thought that may have been the issue, but my iPhone 12 pro is running the most up to date version iOS 16, same as my iPhone 14 pro max.

Ive been having this same issue i used to game fine in my iPhone 12 pro but ever since I got my iPhone 14 pro max I haven't been able to remote play on it from anywhere other than right next to my xbox on the same wifi network. So disappointing

Also I play on iPad Air, iPhone 11 Pro Max, a new xbox series S I bought after we moved, and an old PS4

This is one of the major issues with xCloud that I hope are fixed before it is out of beta. This likely has nothing to do with your controller, but is instead just something you have to deal with when playing over a wireless connection.

I have the same input lag you’re experiencing on my iPad Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max, but do not have this issue when I play on my M1 MacBook Air that is connected to the internet through a wired connection.

Since xCloud is being heavily advertised for use on mobile devices, let’s hope Microsoft is able to fix this quickly. We’re still in a beta period here.
