    Xbox cloud gaming lag issues on IOS


    So I know for a fact this is pretty common especially when playing xcloud over the phone but I’m overall curious if there are plans for the near future to try and fix the syncing issues with controllers as well as overall lag. When it comes to playing games like halo it’s pretty unplayable because of the lag but games like Skyrim it is pretty enjoyable. Over the past couple days I have been switching between different internets like 2g and 5g and noticed that it works the best with 5g but for whatever reason today no matter what I do it’s basically unplayable and the visuals are super bad. Even tried it on my computer and it was the exact same oddly enough. Anyone got some input on just overall xcloud info or things to do to help performance?

    This could be caused by the iOS beta and not an issue with the cloud gaming feature itself.

    May I know if you can go back to a stable version of IOS, or if you have close another iPhone with iOS 16.5 or less, verify the cloud gaming feature there?

    I also am unable to log in for Xbox Cloud Gaming. I am using an iPad Pro 2nd Gen, iPadOS 15.7 which indicates as up to date when checked for updates.

    For additional troubleshooting context, the exact page that loads when attempting to sign in is "https://www.microsoft.com/library/errorpages/smarterror.aspx?correlationId=" followed by a string that changes each time I attempt to log in. I get this same error page when attempting to log in at Xbox.com from my PC as well.

    I'm seeing the same issue on Linux (Steam Deck) and Android (Samsung A72), although the Game Pass app works fine on the latter (because it has a cached login, presumably; I just tested with it to see if the issue was just on my Steam Deck).

    It's not just cloud gaming, either - *any* login on Xbox.com (the front page, the store, whatever) results in being redirected to the same error page.

    Edit: Microsoft.com logins work fine (clearly, as I'm posting here), and even support.xbox.com works OK, but anything on www.xbox.com is broken.
