Xbox cloud gaming deleted all my Starfield saves & synced to my home consoles

I already lost all my Starfield saves now. It somehow deleted all my local files with this message and synced that to the cloud. After the Quick Resume was cleared, everything was gone. :-(

This moderator is clearly copying and pasting old data from the Xbox One days. This troubleshoot doesn’t work on Xbox Series X or S consoles.

“Cloud saved games” isn’t an option anymore.

I can’t find how to force a cloud sync. I can’t play Starfield on my other console in another room because the data won’t sync.

What’s the point of cloud saving if it doesn’t actually save???

I have deleted all of the Starfield save files on the console except for 1 (I feared deleting the last one).

Mind you, all of the negative symptoms are occuring when I try and use Xbox Cloud to play Starfield on my PC.

I'm sorry you're having issues with Starfield on your Xbox Series S.

Restart the game: You can restart the game by accessing the main menu, using the ☰ button on your controller to select the game, and then selecting Close game

Restart your console: If the crashes continue to occur, the next step would be to restart your console

Delete local save files and sync back to the cloud: Make sure your Xbox Series X/S console is connected to a stable internet connection. Make sure previous save files have been synced correctly before deleting them. Then, tap the Xbox button on the controller. A guide will open. Choose the “My games & apps” option, then go to See all > Games. Select Starfield and then tap the Menu button or Xbox button on the controller. Choose the Manage game and add-ons option. Then select Saved data. Finally, delete everything in Save Data, which will delete all local saves. Then, follow the instructions on the screen and the next time you launch the game, the cloud saves will sync again if you are connected to the Internet.

3. Try manually syncing your saved games by going to the "Manage Game & Add-ons" section of Starfield on both your Xbox Series X and PC. From there, select "Saved Data" and then "Sync Now."

all I can see is delete all and delete, or clear

are you sure this Sync now is available in xbox x??? or is just my xbox x dont have this function
