Xbox cloud game repeatedly downloads

Thanks for the reply. Xbox has told that they do have known issues with Starfield and their cloud based save system. I have synched the game repeatedly and have performed local saves and the game even shows when it's auto saving. But if for some reason the game gets "out of cloud synch" all of these saves, local or auto, are lost because the game actually didn't save because of the cloud synch issue

Hi, I'm sorry that solution wasn't the right one, Yes, you should be able to download a cloud save game that has "Xbox cloud saves" and "Xbox game anywhere". However, if you no longer have access to the game, you may not be able to download the cloud save.

In order to reach the solution, follow the following steps.

Open the Xbox app on your PC.

Click the "Games" tab.

Find the game you want to download the cloud save.

Click the "Options" button.

Select "Manage saved files."

Select the cloud save you want to download.

Click the "Download" button.

Hi, you should be able to transfer your saved games to the cloud and then transfer them from the cloud onto your new Xbox. But this might require a license transfer from one Xbox to the other. Below are some guide to help you.

You could also use a usb stick to transfer stuff. But as far as downloaded games, when you get your new console and set your gamertag up on it then you can view your download history and re-download any games. Whatever games you downloaded under your gamertag
will be available to download again. May have to do a license transfer.

As far as game saves and such I would just use a usb stick or you could save them using the cloud storage available on your console.
