xbox claim points notification but no points

Based on your description, you are seeing Xbox points for claiming notification however these notifications seem to be non-existing. It is possible that these points claim notification is an unread notification you had, or this could be an issue with the Xbox app or could be something we needed to find out. Let us check on this together and sort this out in timely manner.

We would like to isolate your issue and ask for few questions:

1. May we ask for a screen record of the issue? Please post it on private message - click here.
   
2. Since you have added this concern to Xbox on Windows, we would like to know if you often see advertisements popping located on lower right side of your screen.
   
3. When do this notification show? Every launch of Xbox app for Windows? Every launch or use of Xbox Game Bar? Or every visit of Xbox website? Or every time you launch a game?
   
4. Do you have issues with other apps notification or just the Xbox app notification?
   

So far, from the details you provided, you can try the following steps and let us know the result. You can just skip those you have done already.

• Restart device -
  
  • This will clear your computer’s memory/RAM.
    
• Keep your Windows updated -
  
  • Install PC updates including Optional Update. Guide - Update Windows
    
    • Settings > Update & Security (Windows 10) or Windows Update (Windows 11) > Check for updates > download updates and install > restart device and wait for the update to be done.
      
  • If you have issues with update, please check the troubleshooting steps available here - Troubleshoot problems updating Windows.
    
• Update your Windows and Windows drivers:
  
  • For the best game performance, make sure your system’s video card drivers (or display adapter drivers) are up to date. Drivers are available on the support website for your computer manufacturer, or if your computer system is custom built, on the video card manufacturer’s support website. Updating video card drivers can resolve game crashes, improve frame rates, and improve overall game performance.
    
• Update Xbox app and Gaming Services from Microsoft Store
  
  • Launch Microsoft Store app on Windows by searching it on Windows search bar.
    
  • Select Library > Updates & downloads > check if an update is available for the Xbox app.
    
  • If an update is available, select Update.
    
  • Launch Xbox app and check at the bottom of the page, if an update is available for Gaming Services.

"Customer will see a notification in their Rewards dashboard approximately 65 days after purchase to claim points"

As the promotion finished on 6th April, 65 days would put it to around 10th June

It does help, thank you! I appreciate you sharing this information.

I'll be passing it on as well just in case it may be impacting this issue as well. Please let me know if you come across this issue with the setting recommended so I can let the team know that it is or is not effective for you and created the intended effect when it comes to notifications, and we can add that to our investigation and hopefully get a solution for this.
