Xbox chat on PC

is it the Mixer Chat window or Xbox Party Chat?

are you streaming through PC?

I've been having a problem for a week I have 2 pcs in my house both the same headsets same settings..

Nat type is open.. anyways I join xbox chat on pc and I hear my friends for 5 seconds and can talk then boom it stops working.. but if I go over to discord my mic works just fine. Hopefully someone has a solution please??

I'm having a very simalar issue, when I join any party chat I can see that the other players can hear me, but I can not hear them. When I go into options I see that my headset and mic are both set to active and correct but for some reason I have to select
a different audio output and then select back to my headset before I can hear anyone. Afterwards it works as intended but this is getting annoying.

I don't know if it is related but I had a similar issue where my microphone was working in Discord for a few seconds then would stop. I ended up going to the Settings --> Privacy --> Microphone and view the apps that are allowed to use the microphone.
Xbox Game Bar is unchecked by default I think.

Also, if you have another program open that can use the microphone it will possibly override other programs. For example, The Division 2 game will make Discord no longer work if I turn the in game audio on to my main microphone.

I have another Forum going on for this... been going since December and no Fix yet.... Very very very annoying. But i found a fix for a few weeks, if you spam the mute and unmute button, it works. Link here My
