xbox chat headset won't produce game or dashboard volume

Hello, so I bought a xbox one chat headset and it's not producing any game volume. chat mixer is set as 50/50 in settings did every reboot I was told to do etc.

the headset came with a built in adapter that only has the mute/+/-volume options, it lacks the chat/game mixer volume buttons typically located on the left of the adapter.

my controller still works fine on the other adapter, issue seems local to the headset, but because it does incoming/outgoing part chat volume no problem the headset is clearly working.

it there anyway you can remotely play with the chat mixer on the headset so I can actually use it?

Xbox One stereo headset adapter/game sound

Im using turtle beach px4's and don't seem to be having the issue. I have to turn on the game sound 'on the adapter' and then turn up the volume for the game sound on the headset, The chat volume is a good level, but obvisouly I can't have the game level
a really loud setting as the third party headset is amplified allot more than the headset Microsoft produce.

setting up Razer chimaera 5.1 headset on Xbox One

Hi!

I have stereo headset from Razer company, model chimaera 5.1. This is wireless headset for Xbox360.

After bying Xbox One, and bying microsoft headset adapter (official) for xbox one, this headset start working with chat. But buttons on headset adapter not work correctly. Not matter what i'm doing, changing volume of chat or game, in my headset changes
all volume. If dont use this buttons, game sounds are so loud that i cant hear chat(((

And buttons on headset dont work correctly (there are butons on headset for
regulation chat and game volumes). There is the same thing. Like sound getting in with one stream.

Is there any opportunity to make the headphones work properly with Xbox One?

I already did all that... and it did literal nothing. please don't link stuff from there because I have done everything there.

is headsets usually have a volume control the balance chat and game audio. If it doesn't, there's one in the party menu of the dashboard

Hi there!

The current headset you use for music will work just fine with the Xbox One headset adaptor. You'll be able to hear game volume through it as well as using the adaptor controls to adjust the volume levels. If you are ever interested in chat volume in the
future, you can bump that up using the controls on the adaptor - but as you know, you won't be able to talk to others with the headset you currently have.
