Xbox Captures sometimes not showing

I'm new to the xbox forums but I'm having a very unusual problem with my xbox captures, and was hoping someone out there knows anything about it.

It's kind of hard to explain so I hope you can understand what I'm having trouble with.

Anyway, I take captures regularly and I noticed a few days ago that my new captures weren't showing on my profile, it's been days now and when I view either my account on xbox or on the app, I can only see my captures from days ago and not my most recent.
I know for a fact I have room in my storage so that isn't the issue, as when I refresh my xbox or the app sometimes my new clips show up properly, but disappear once again when I back out or refresh. I'm really not sure what happening but they all show up
in my home xbox tab but not in the xbox live tab even though it's saved to xbox live. I also checked on various Xbox capture websites and I only see captures from days ago. Its weird because sometimes they all show up but most times they don't and it's annoying
when I want to save my captures. I've tried literally anything I can think of like resetting Xbox and removing my account as well as uninstalling the app but nothing has worked. Even when signing in to another Xbox, even friends I've spoken too sometimes don't
see them but sometimes do.

I hope its just a sync issue but that couldn't explain why I'm only seeing my older captures and not my most recent.

I asked this same question yesterday. I too had just mad e anew account and have the same issues as you so im guessing its just a temporary problem with Xbox servers. Hopefully get fixed soon.

Noticed a few times objectives show we haven't completely captured it in the hud, when he have. & sometimes i'm outnumbered on an objective but it will still show that its filling up while blue instead of red.

Did you check in the Browse All Captures screen and select show captures on this Xbox only?

I do own the app. Captures will not delete from there either.

The captures also do a cycle where it shows all the “deleted attempts” and won’t delete, then it’ll show no old clips I’m trying to delete (it’ll show any recent clips I’ve tried to add) and that’s when it allows me to upload. It also will show all my old clips and screenshots and when I go into recently captures, it shows the most recently added captures to Xbox live. Right now, it is showing 101 clips and when I click on recently captures, it shows the 4 I managed to slip on to Xbox live only. It’ll eventually revert to the 101 clips and not show the most recent ones.

Just a Volunteer

On your console Home Guide menu select Capture & share > Recent captures >Show all >Manage captures

That will show you your captures you have uploaded to the Xbox network. You can change this to captures on this console to show those captures.

If you change the look on screen to small icons (press 4 squares) you will have other options as well as a delete choice.

Looking at this screen outlay, on console captures will inform you if they have been uploaded to the Xbox network or not.

Captures on the console that have been uploaded to the xbox network can be deleted from the console if you want. Be aware that there is a finite available space on the console for captures that fills up very quickly if you make a lot of clips and/or screenshots.

Uploaded Captures on the xbox network can also be deleted.

I use the sort option and delete captures regularly from both my console and Xbox network to keep my captures manageable.
