    Xbox captures aren’t working right


    My Xbox network storage was full, so I deleted a bunch of captures taking my Xbox network storage down to 87%.

    Even though I am deleting these captures some of them still keep showing up especially on the Xbox app on my phone even though they are deleted off of the Xbox network. The actual problem here is there is a clip I am trying to upload. It says I’m uploading it to the Xbox network then gives me a notification on my phone saying “gameclip uploaded” but every time I click on it it says “oops looks like you’re stranded” it’s also, not showing up on my Xbox.

    i’ve tried uploading this clip a couple times now and magically my Xbox network storage went from 87% to 91% but there are no new captures being uploaded. And again, some captures I am trying to delete, will not DELETE. it is getting really frustrating. I reset my Xbox and my phone turned the Wi-Fi off on everything, nothing changes.

    I really don’t know what to do

    Just as a heads up, we are currently receiving multiple reports regarding this particular captures issue, however, no official announcements have been made by Microsoft .In the meantime we can just perform troubleshooting steps.

    Have you performed a full power cycle?

    Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button  on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

    Once the lights on the front of the console, unplug the power cable from the rear of the console.

    Wait at least 30 seconds.

    Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button  on the console or the Xbox button  on your controller.

    Have you tried to make the purchase using a computer and a console? Does the error occur in both hardware?

    Is your account from the same Region where you currently live?

    How Do I record a video capture?

    Aha! If you press the XBox button and tab right twice with the right button you'll get to "Capture & share" where "Start Recording" does the same thing that "Record from now" did. Also "Recent captures" and "Show all" will get you to "Manage captures".
