    This has been a problem since the December 1, 2020 firmware update. Every time I try to share a capture uploaded to Xbox Live to activity feeds, clubs, or messages on the Xbox One, it still fails (it happens on some specific ones). I have gotten tired of resorting to the Xbox Console Companion app on PC just to share captures. Restarting my Xbox does absolutely nothing to fix the issue.

    Another issue is that I still cannot delete old captures to free up space for new ones.

    I would still suggest the power reset as this is a basic troubleshooting step and should work if there is any issue related to cache or temporary files.

    You could also try to clear the console persistent storage:

    - Press the Xbox One button on your controller.

    - Go to Settings and select Devices and Connections.

    - In the BLU-RAY section select Persistent Storage.

    - Select Clear persistent storage three times.

    Then, perform the power reset and please see if the issue persists.

    There's no specific article yet for this error code so let's try some steps to isolate the issue. Kindly make sure you have enabled game captures on your console. Please select Profile & system > Settings > Preferences.

    Select Capture & share > Allow game captures.

    Choose Captures by me or games, or simply Captures by me.

    then go to your Xbox Settings. Select Network Settings > Advanced Settings. Under Change Settings select Alternate MAC Address> select Clear. Allow the console to restart when prompted then try to check if the issue still persists.

    Same here.

    As both the above have said, deleting captures from xbox live didn't not rectify issue, nor did deleting captures off the xbox itself.

    There was that issue earlier in the week with people not having their microsoft store content being available, as well as people not being able to log into live the following day. I'm gonna guess that this issue is related to that.

    Fix the problem.

    Captures stored ON my Xbox disappeared

    It's not related to the update.

    The Xbox console has only a limited amount of reserved space for captures, so if that limit is reached, new captures will "push out" older captures.

    If you wish to keep certain captures permanently, you need to use Upload Studio to upload your captures to OneDrive for example.
