    Xbox Capture, How to Trim them?


    Hi, i keep bumping into this Problem..
    Ever since the New App, i have not been able to Trim any of my Videos On PC for Xbox Capture, they Expecially LOVE to not work on other Trimming apps..
    Ever since the "New" release of the Xbox app on Windows, and Discontinue of the old... i haven't been able to Trim any of them.
    I can't find any solution online, and sorry to say, but it is getting really on my Nerves by now.
    I simply Cannot locate the Trim Option for Xbox Capture on Windows 10 Pro.
    And no, i don't mean, 30 seoconds or 1 minute recording options, these are located in the Capture settings. I need the Trim Recorded Xbox Capture Video's on Windows 10.
    The New app doesn't seem to have this? or it's reallyyy well hidden.

    I understand your frustration. Xbox game clip editing is currently only available on Windows 10 devices, not consoles

    Open the Xbox guide: Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide

    Go to Capture and Share: Navigate right using the joystick to the Stream and Capture menu

    Select Recent Captures: Use the 'A' button to select Recent Captures

    Choose the clip you want to edit: If your clip is not recent, select Show all and then choose the clip you want to edit.

    Select Crop: To edit, select More actions (…) > Crop, and then use the on-screen controls to edit and save.

    Hello there Khaji, Thank you for the Quick respond, i sadly did not notice the Comment until now.

    The Problem "is" on the PC!! i can't figure out since the Re-Launch of the new app, on how i get to the Editor mode.
    What app am i suppost to use on PC? I record some of my Gameclips using the Build in App 'Xbox Game Bar.
    But i fail to locate the Option to trim in Either the "Xbox Game Bar" and the New "Xbox" app.

    Clips

    There used to be an app called Upload Studio which has just been removed from the App Store. To trim your videos from your Xbox follow these steps.

    1. First capture your gameplay by pressing your xbox button followed by X.

    2. After a short while your clip will have saved to your recent captures.

    3. To see these captures press your xbox button again and move to Capture & Share.

    4. Go to recent captures and press A, then choose which clip you want to trim and edit.

    5. An option should now appear near bottom of list saying Trim.

    6. It may take several moments to load in your clip.

    7. Move your left analogue to trim your clip from.the start and your right to trim it from the end.

    8. When finished press A to preview clip or X to save.

    You may need delete the upload studio app and re download it.

    This could fix the issue.
