    Xbox - Cannot give consent for creation child account


    Hi all,

    I have had different support session on this issue. I want my daughter of 5 years old be able to access xbox.com and create a gamertag.

    I have added her to my family at family.microsoft.com and removed all restrictions just in case that might be the issue.

    The first page looks good:

    The second one also:

    Then, logging with my (the parent) account:


    Xbox - Cannot give consent for creation child account [​IMG]


    Then it looks like it tries 6 times and I get the following:


    Xbox - Cannot give consent for creation child account [​IMG]


    Anyone faces this too and is there a solution available?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    I was hitting this too, I circumvented it by signing that childs account into support.xbox.com where i was greeted with the gamer tag / avatar selection page and as far as the system is concerned it is a fully working Xbox Live profile.

    Have forwarded both issues to Xbox support (because being able to bypass the consent system is a problem in itself)

    Click "Sign in with a security key"

    Click "Other ways to sign in"

    Fill in username if it is not filled in yet.

    Enter a wrong password:

    Enter a correct password and sign in.
