Xbox cannot find new modem ip address

Sorry to hear you are having issues with the new modem. Having a look around, it appears many others are having the same issue and even with a different Xbox console. This would suggest its some setting or setup within the modem or router.

The one thing I can think of is making sure uPnP is enabled.

Most likely ypur router supports ip4 already just hand out.ip4 addresses

And Btw Visage, you cant use the DNS address of your NIC because its advisable to use manual ip addresses on the Xbox and the Host PC ( You cannot use Automatically assigned IP's because the IP address will change everytime you connect the 3G Modem to the
internet) so the NIC wont have a DNS address once you've configured the IP addresses manually. The DNS address will be found on the Modem itself . And if anyone would like to know how to check the DNS address of the Modem: In Adapter settings Right click on
your Modem and in then click on "Status" and then on "Details" the DNS IP's Will be displayed in there.

Did you accept any updates? You would have to manually tell the console to accept the update for it to process.
