xbox can only install games after i delete software

So ive asked in the past and a 'solution' someone gave was to factory reset the xbox, first without uninstalling games, then I tried but with deleting all the games. both have not worked. So when I try downloading anything may it be a DLC or a game or a app it will come up with installation stopped. this is even with updates, so I am slowly running out of things I can play for every update. i can then only get it to successfully download something once I uninstall something else, once again this can be DLC or a game or app. Is there anyone else who has ever had this issue and is there anything I can do to fix this issue.

If that's the case, the issue may be the console since you have already reset your console removing everything. That usually fixes all issues. You may need to get the console repaired by signing in to https://account.microsoft.com/devices.

Seems like you have indeed performed all the necessary steps. Do you have an external hard drive? If yes, Please unplug the external hard drive then perform a powercycle before installing any game or DLC. Make sure to keep the hard drive unplugged.

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.
