Xbox button not working on remotes

    Xbox button not working on remotes


    I am unable to go back to the dash bored or even bring up the snap menu or bring up the option to turn my console or remote off.

    I have tried with 3 different remotes and the Xbox smart glass app with no success.

    I have already turned the console off then back and re-synced the controls

    xbox 360 S media remote.

    To my knowledge, the buttons do not light up. If all the buttons are working correctly then I would assume the remote is working fine.

    Xbox One Media Remote - Pop-up/ Start Menu buttons do not work during Blu-Ray playback

    I just got the xbox one IR remote and can confirm the menu and pop up menu buttons on the remote still do not work!! What a waste of money this remote was, these buttons work on the connected glass app on my iPad but not on the remote, unacceptable...

    Media Center Remote

    I turned the console a bit and it worked a lot better, however, I didn't both trying the dongle. After using the media center remote I realized that some buttons do not exist on the remote like a Y button so I think I will pickup an Xbox remote.

    The menu button on the xbox one media remote does not work in the blu ray app. It will not pull up the blu ray dvd menu. The menu button on the gaming remote will pull up the blu ray menu. Can you notify me when this is resolved. The menu button does work
    every where else except in the blu ray app.

    I have the same problem with Netflix and the media remote. The only buttons that still work are the Xbox home key, and the Play/Pause key. Media remote buttons work fine navigating the Xbox menu so I know it works fine but when using Netflix I cannot FF,
    rewind, skip, select, etc. This started happening after the November update. If I uninstall Netflix app and reinstall it the remote will work fine until I power off the console at night. The next day when I use power up and use Netflix the remote is back to
    not working again. I use energy-save power settings.
