Xbox bugging out?

Discus and support Xbox bugging out? in XBoX on Windows to solve the problem; It lets me log in to my profile, but that’s basically it.     It lets me log in to my profile, but that’s basically it. I go to the App Library, and it only shows 2 of the many games we have on our device. Everything else appears to need to be downloaded. Another thing, when I log in, it doesn’t let me log into any other profile, password or not. Essentially, for some odd reason, my profile seems to be the only one that works. In addition, when I turn on the controller, it doesn’t turn on the Xbox like it should. I can’t open apps, and whenever I try to do anything, even if it’s not technically opening an app, it says “For some reason (App name/action name) took to long to start.” And after that, it lists the error code: 0x8027025a. I can’t even open the settings. Anyone know what to do?

    Hi, Christopher. My name is Ron, I'm an independent advisor. I will be more than happy to help you.

    If you have an external hard drive connected, turn off your console then disconnect the external hard drive. Turn on your console without the external hard drive and see if everything is working fine after that.

    If the issue still persists, please do the steps below in sequence to do a factory reset and see if it sorts out the issue.

    - Unplug the network cable if you're using a wired network connection.

    - Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.

    - Wait 30 seconds.

    - Plug the power cord back in.

    - Press and hold the BIND button (the one you use to sync controllers) and the EJECT button, and then press the Xbox button on the console.

    - Continue holding the BIND and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds.

    - Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart.

    Note: If you don't hear two power-up tones after 15 seconds, it means this failed. Likewise, if you hear any “power-down” chirps, that also means this failed.

    - You can release the BIND and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone.

    - The console should start and show the Troubleshooting screen

    - Choose "reset this Xbox" and there you have an option to Keep Games and Apps (already downloaded) or to Remove Everything

    Hi, did anything change between the last time it worked properly and when it started having issues? Did you install a system update? Did you change Xbox Live accounts? Those could potentially have caused the issues you're seeing. If not, we can try helping
    you troubleshoot from there.

    I didnt have any issues with operations as of 11/14/13 around 10p Eastern.. Will try again when I get home from work.

    this. I've been a fan over 8 years, and DICE eventually gets all the major and 95% of the minor bugs ironed out. Don't forget EA has DICE in thumbscrews.

    The days of fully tested and completed games are over. Battlefield 5 full release will probably be a pre alpha, they will patch it by the time they release battlefield 6.
