Xbox broadcasting problem

Hello dear Xbox-Community people,

i really want to broadcast my gameplay on Mixer but there's an big bug with my account settings which does not allow me to start a Mixer recording on any of my devices (PC and XBOX One).

Everythime I want to set "Broadcast Gameplay" in my Xbox One/Windows 10 Online Safety Settings to "Allow" and press "Submit" the page refreshes and the setting is back to "Block".

I don't see any solution for now so I went to this Forum for asking you for some help.

I really hope that someone here is able to help me. I've already talked to the Microsoft Helpdesk about this problem but they say that it is not possible that this setting is not buggy and I should be able to change it. But I'm not able to.

Only the parent account can chande those settings for a child account

If aa child account is related to a parental account only the parental account can make the changes.

This may be possible. I don't know exactly if I entered my real date of birth (I'm not 18 years old) when creating my Microsoft over 5 years ago.

Would it be possible to create another, elder Microsoft Account, add it as parent and change my settings via the parent account?

Hi, did you alter your date of birth, to show you are18 or over? If you did, it will not alter the original date of birth, which is locked to an Xbox account. Unfortunately if this is the case you need to wait for the original date of birth to turn 18
(20 in South Korea and Japan)
