Xbox Box Game Pass Ultimate; conversion and cost

I have some questions and concerns regarding the gold to ultimate conversion and the promotional rate. I just renewed my gold subscription (two days ago) and today I saw the promotional rate and I am considering a change; However, I do not understand how
this will shake out. I found a conversion chart (unfortunately I do not know if this is a current exchange rate) that says I will get 4 months for the years of Xbox Live Gold I just purchased but does that mean I will get 4 months of ultimate plus the $1.00
introductory month for a total of 5 months or am I missing something?

The other question or concern I have is whenever I try to click on the “get your 1st month of ultimate for 1.00” on my Xbox home screen I am redirected to a screen which lists the price of the Game Pass Ultimate (GPU) at 14.99. Specifically it says, “1 month
for $14.99 renews at $14.99” and there is no mention of the promo rate causing me some confusion.

The conversion chart in the FAQ is for if you add a standard gold or prepaod card after you have Ultimate, which is not what you are going. You would be upgrading to Ultimate from a standard Gold subscription so your gold will convert at a rate of 1:1. So
if your renewal was a 12 month, you will have 13 months of Ultimate if you purchase Ultimate.

As previously stated, the promotion is only for new subscribers so if the system sees you has having subscribed before, you would not be eligible.

I have not used the $1.00 offer for Game Pass Ultimate; however, I did use an intro offer previously for standard Game Pass. I believe this was in late 2017 or early 2018 but this is only a guess because I cannot access my prior subscription information
at the moment.

all i can suggest is trying to get hold of billing from Xbox support as Xbox ambassador I can only provide information and not necessary info directly from your account as I'm just a volunteer.

Firstly you are correct you will receive 5 months if you use the introductory offer. However I would like to ask, have you ever used a 1.00 offer for ultimate before as the offer is only available once per Gamertag.

You should be able to utilize the promotional offer for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, if you have not used it yet. It also may not be a bad idea to contact Microsoft support in order to check for your account information.
