Xbox. Black rectangle at the bottom of the screen.

We have tried all of the settings in Xbox series x and the settings on the monitor. On some games for example assassins creed it is fine with no line but on the Xbox menus screens and for example Fortnite the black area appears.

Andy, please verify the following:

A. Open Settings, go to TV & Display Options > Video fidelity & overscan > if “Apps can a border” is checked, please uncheck that option and restart your console before trying again.

B. Re-calibrate your TV via Settings > TV & Display Options > Calibrate TV > in the Aspect ratio & sharpness section.

Sure no problem. Ok so i turn my Xbox on, there are all 3 accounts that I have on that console, I select my account, as I sign in after say 10 seconds the bubble at the bottom of the screen will appear saying I'm signed in....however the box in the centre
of the screen remains in the centre of the screen for around another 10 seconds (this being the white rectangle that also says signing in) and then I will be signed in and the bubble at the bottom of the screen will appear for a second time
