Xbox big game sale licence revoked

Hi my name is Luke I purchased Far Cry primal on the Xbox big game sale for £30, I was in the Xbox preview at the time and decided to opt out I've now logged back into my system and my license far cry primal has been revoked and the price has now gone up
to £54.99 Microsoft Xbox has took my money of £30 but they're saying that the money was not taken I am very upset by this I am a very loyal gamer I'm spend quite a bit of money on gaming I'm hoping somebody can help me rectify the problem whether it be give
me my licence back will give me the game at the price I paid so I forgot to mention I never got a refund as of yet thanks in advance.

Glitch/Exploit to Watch Dogs 2 - If redeemed, will account be banned or game revoked?

No one here can say for sure as the enforcement team don't use the forums but last time something similar happened the games licence was revoked so the people who downloaded it lost access to the game.

Fallout 4 is FREE!

They revoked my Fallout 4 licence but I got to keep the Season pass and they also deposited $10 into my account for the mistake. I game share so I can still play fallout 4

this is what happens with software, you purchase a licence to use the software and dlc not to own it, they then have to provide that software for a period of time, they can then remove or revoke the licence at any time after what can be a reasonable amount
of time in use, say three years.

if a company wants to delist and revoke all licences to a game they can as that is what you agreed to when purchasing the licence.

if i create a game and sell it on xbox, you buy a licence to use it, i can after a certain amount of time, revoke access with notice and then thats it you lose access, if you buy a game you have no and i mean NO ownership of the content, the licence just
gives you an open ended rental that can be revoked.

i give up, i'm not going to argue with you.

Once you purchase a game from the xbox store, it is saved to your profile and is yours to keep forever

not forever, depends if the licence ever gets revoked by microsoft or the publisher which can happen, you own a licence not the game.

As daft Badger stated

digital content you only own a licence to play the game you don't own any of it and this licence can be revoked any time after a three year period with little notice but this very rarely happens.

Physical media is the same, you own the plastic thats it, the software comes under the same as digital and that you own a licence to use said game and this too can be revoked.

this also applies to music and films/tv series etc etc.
