Xbox (Beta) unable to download Everspace

Found the issue, if anyone else comes across this click on your Avatar and select Settings then change the default install from here as that seems to override the system one.

Kind of annoying as I like to keep my C drive to Windows and core programs so it would be nice if they could fix games requiring being installed on the System drive

So far, I've had this issue with only Everspace so far, says the game needs to be downloaded to my main drive, yet when I did set it up, it still wouldn't download. I've only downloaded The Surge, Astroneer, and tested We Happy Few which downloads fine.
If Microsoft wants people to hope on board with this new platform, they might want to make sure people can download and play the games they want on it. But, it is the Beta for the store, so maybe these are issues that can be fixed soon hopefully.

Same situation with: Metro exodus, sunset overdrive, hellblade.

For the other hand I can play GoW5, Prey, Ori and Everspace (Everspace with frecuently crashes, freeze image).

Did this work for you in the past two days? I've been able to download The Surge and Astroneer so far, but when I tried to download Everspace, the download would stop at 94.0 MB and tell me it needs to be downloaded to the main drive. Though when
I did change it, the same thing happened.

For me, all games are downloading properly except for Everspace. A friend of mine also tried to download it and had the same problem. I hope there's something wrong with the game's files and we don't need to install it to the main drive, because I won't. It
would be great if Microsoft let the developers know.
