Xbox beta (PC) extremely slow

Hi,

I am trying to use Xbox Beta for PC but it is painfully slow. It takes up to five minutes before any images appears and my HDD is working like crazy. I am playing around with the app only to be ready for Microsoft Flight Simulator, but if the app is going
to slow my computer down like this - I will never be able to run the sim.

My internet connection if Fiber optic 500 down/250 up Mbit connection.

My system specs:

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2600K CPU

16Mb RAM

GeForce 1070 16 Mb RAM

250 Gb SSD and 1Tb HDD

Operating System: Windows 10 Home 64-bit (10.0, Build 18362) (18362.19h1_release.190318-1202)

Any advice or update if the app is going to be optimized any year soon?

Hi VildingTU ! 4 minutes after you said !? Woah ! Your PC setup is most powerful than mine and it run perfectly on my computer. the App open
directly.

So....if you 've already check all updates (app and PC) in Windows store and system, i don't know why it is slow like this ?!? Is it possible you have many apps open in same time on your PC that affect Xbox Beta ?

Yes, I went in to the store this morning and started the app from there.

Is anyone else having trouble with Plants Vs Zombies GW2 Beta downloading EXTREMELY slow? Most of our other games have NEVER downloaded this slow.

I'm Samy an independent advisor. Welcome to the Xbox community. How are you?

Press and hold the Xbox button on your console until the console turns off, remove the power cord for 1 minute, turn on the console, and see if that resolves the issue.

If the problem persists follow these instructions below but before you start remove everything connected to the console and just leave the power cord and HDMI cable connected to the console.

Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off. Wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord back in.

Press and hold the Pair button (located on the left side of the console) and the Eject button (located on the front of the console), and then press the Xbox button  on the console.

Note The Xbox Series S and the Xbox One S All-Digital Edition do not have Eject buttons. You can bring up the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter on these consoles by holding only the Pair button (steps 3 & 4) and then pressing the Xbox button .

Continue holding the Pair and Eject buttons for 10-15 seconds.

Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the Pair and Eject buttons after the second power-up tone.

If you do the command correctly it will take you to the troubleshooting screen with 4 options.

I recommend choosing the ''reset this console'' option and then keeping your games and app.

You'll go through the initial console setup and should be fine.
