Xbox Beta - No text in w10

Hi

So I recently switched to pc gaming then I realized I need xbox app for game party chat and invites. So I had to update to 1903 then install the xbox beta which I did but since installation the beta has no text or icons on the button so you have to guess
where a button is and then what it is. Is there any fox for this

be sure to try uninstalling, restart the PC and try installing again.

If it keeps failing try clicking your profile icon in top right and if visible select Feedback option (bottom one if I recall) and provide the issue as feedback.

Hi!

Try using the new
Xbox (Beta) app. You'll be able to download and launch the contents. Also check that W10 is correctly updated.

Also having this problem ever since the new dashboard went live for all.

Cannot get the virtual keyboard to appear on the xbox w10 app nor the smartglass app (Android).

Doesn't work for in game text chat, dashboard typing, or messaging.

The xbox app you can now download, is the one linked with the new gamepass for PC still in beta version. The old xbox app has now a different name and should be already installed in a W10 system.

Look for an app named "companion console xbox" which is the new bname of the old app you're looking for.
