xbox beta mute problem

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. We understand that you are interested in learning how to unmute all the players in your party. Is the party still muted when you restart the application? You mentioned that you are using the Xbox (beta) App.
There is a mute button on the top right portion of the voice chat windows that should allow you to turn it off. If you are unable to access the mute button through the Xbox (beta) App, we recommend trying to

unmute your party through the Xbox Console Companion App. Be sure to let us know the results aleksihuhtala!

the application(and overlay) shows me i have not muted them before I go to the party voice chat, but when i join to the voice chat the app shows me i have muted other guys and i cant remove that mute

Same problem here. Since the update I can no longer power on/off my HW-E450.

Can someone from Microsoft add me to the betas so I can report these issues and help fix the double mute/unmute problems please!

We currently have a service alert up for this issue at this time. We would be unable to speculate on how long it will take to get things back to normal, however, we have teams hard at work to get things back up and running. Once
it has ended please let us know if this still occurs. You can stay up to date on things on
our status alert page.

If you have not muted your mic physically, then you could be muted on your Parental Controls, by Xbox LIVE (possibly by Xbox Enforcement), or by a game. Does this problem only occur on specific games? Certain games such as Halo: Reach have
an auto-mute system that will mute you to everyone if you have been muted by enough people.
