Xbox beta installer stuck on "making things awesome" in Windows 10

I've paid for Xbox game pass but I'm unable to even install the Xbox beta app in order to install my games. I can't download my games from the Microsoft store either, nor can I download the Xbox beta app from the Microsoft store. If I download the "XboxInstaller.exe"
separately from Microsoft then my installer hangs at "making things awesome".

Please can someone help me? I've tried everything I can find online in relation to this issue and nothing is working

Sorry but the only thing I can think of would be to try a fresh restart or install of the Windows program. You could also double check your graphics drives to make sure they're up to date.

Other than that all I can think of is a possible program conflict that is not allowing the app to download

I've just tried everything in that video but unfortunately none of it helped. It did allow me to "clear" my download queue on the Microsoft store which I wasn't able to do before. But now when I go to install the Xbox Beta app the Microsoft Store app just
hangs.

Do you have any other suggestions?

I'm on Windows 10 version 1909. I've tried cancelling the install and restarting but that doesn't work. What else can I do to fix this?

Sorry to hear it. Please make sure you're running Windows 10 with at least update 1903 and no pending updates.

If you're still having trouble then cancel the install and restart your PC then try again
