Xbox beta games download problem

i just purchased the Xbox game pass ultimate and am trying to download forza horizon, so after couple of days after the game has made almost 60gb out of the 75 gb, it says error, so when i click restart every GB i downloaded is gone and the game restarted
from scratch. Has this occurred to anyone else? if so how do i make sure this doesn't happen again so i can download this game successfully. Thank you in advance

Go to the xbox store. Search the beta. Download it

I've got the same problem but on the private beta page I can't download the beta

1) I downloaded the game through Microsoft Store

2) Launch the game with same problem (press any key to start) agian & again

3) then close the game!

4) download Xbox (beta) from Microsoft Store

5) launch Xbox (beta)

6) launch Flight Simulator from Xbox (beta)

7) problem sloved with (press any key to start)

now looks like updating or something?

Still unable to play!

In my case, I uninstalled Xbox Game pass and Flight Simulator, install both again and run

After 5 hours (91GB download) everything was ok!

Yes i am on PC.

and regarding the re-downloads, no it doesn't take up space again, in fact it stays the same even during the download.

i'm currently trying to download the game on the other driver but sadly it will take up to 2 weeks to download the game i'm not sure if its worth trying again.

Here's some things to try:

Use Windows Disk clean-up

In the search box on the taskbar, type disk cleanup, and select Disk Cleanup from the list of results.

Select the drive you want to clean up, and then select OK.

Under Files to delete, select the file types to get rid of. To get a description of the file type, select it.

Select OK.

Delivery optimization files can be used for Windows Store for downloading games and apps. You can safety clear these too using this tool.

If you need to free up more space, you can also delete system files:

In Disk Cleanup, select Clean up system files.

Select the file types to get rid of. To get a description of the file type, select it.

Reset store cache

1. Press Windows logo key + X and click Run.

2. Type WSReset.exe in the empty space and hit
ENTER.

3. Reboot your PC.

Try running the Windows Store Apps troubleshooter.

The troubleshooter can be accessed by pressing Windows key + I to open Settings. Go to Update & Security > Troubleshoot. Find Windows Store Apps on the list, click it, and click Run the troubleshooter.

Windows Xbox Beta does all its downloads using the Windows Store, if your Store has issues the games will not download correctly via the PC Game Pass.
