    Xbox (Beta) Game Issues?


    So i have attempted to install 'Surviving Mars' on my Windows 10 Laptop. Unfortunately it came upwith an error and never fully installed.

    Now the game appears in my Xbox (Beta) App and on my start menu, but attempting to launch it it does nothing. If i go to the 'Details' option from the right click menu on the Xbox Beta app, it gives me the option to install it, but on clicking install it
    brings up the progress status for a split second and then the button to install reappears!! :O

    Has anyone else experienced this? And if so, how the hell did you get around it? as i am stuck!

    I have checked 'Add and Remove Programs' it does not appear there, i have uninstalled and re-installed Xbox Beta, twice!... Same Results. I have rebooted my machine several times throughout the process of trying to uninstall the game. I have checked all
    my drivers are upto date, Windows updates are all correct, i am at a loss on what else to try, i have even attempted to find the files manually, but even searching for 'surviving mars' or paradox brings up nothing other than my city skylines files.

    If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated!

    • Launch powershell as an administrator and enter “get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers”
    • In the same powershell window, enter “start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN”
    • Install the app on that page, including accepting the UAC prompt when shown.
    • Try installing the game again.

    because there is a beta gamertag on the Xbox it falls into a beta issue.
