    Hi Xbox Team,
    I recently received a suspension for using the word "mods" in a message where I wasn't promoting cheating or harmful behavior. I understand and respect Xbox’s commitment to fair play and community safety, but I wanted to offer feedback about how the enforcement system might sometimes flag harmless conversations due to keyword triggers.

    It would be great if the system could better detect context, or at least allow for a warning or clarification in cases where there’s no actual violation happening. I totally support keeping the community safe, but I also think there’s room to improve how intent is evaluated.

    Thanks for taking the time to read this, and thank you for working to make Xbox better for everyone.

    Hi Lisa,

    this is a community forum and we are gamer like you.

    You will never find a perfect system. The big advantage of the Xbox system is, that we can appeal higher suspensions or bans, if we think it wasn't justified.

    I don't know any other gaming franchise that allows you to do so.

    The enforcement team do not use the forums.

    If you have filed for a case review & the decision was upheld then there is nothing you can do.

    You must sign in there with the account that has the suspension and there you will find an orange hammer on the first page that you would click on and it will show you your enforcement history and if the suspension is eligible there
    would be a link there to click on to file for a case review.

    A case review will allow you to appeal your suspension which an enforcement agent will look at your case again and determine if they can lift the suspension sooner.

    Ban Policy

    The enforcement team investigates every complaint they receive and will only issue a suspension if they have determined you have done something to violate the code of conduct. So while yes, anyone can report you, that doesn't guarantee you will be suspended.
