Discus and support Xbox ban policy in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Microsoft I think it's very fair to ban people for a time for bad conduct harassment cheating etc but i believe it to be very UNfair to take away the...     Xbox ban policy


    Microsoft I think it's very fair to ban people for a time for bad conduct harassment cheating etc but i believe it to be very UNfair to take away the ability of anyone to communicate with people that are on their friends list. A friend of mine was banned
    from messaging and party chat recently and I understand limiting their ability to communicate with anyone not listed as a friend or allowing them to start their own party or message other people but if I request them to join my party then they should be allowed
    to speak. I have the ability to decide who can be in my party and I can kick them out if I so choose. Please rethink your banning policy for messaging and party chat because some people can become offended and don't know how to utilize the block ability included
    on everyone's account if don't want to hear someone's mouth it's as simple as blocking them end of story. That's what that is for and not allowing anyone to speak with their friends while playing together because of some unknown player getting offended by
    some comment is abhorrent. I am an adult and you give me control of who I choose to listen to and who I don't. Banning people should not include messaging and party chat. Cheating yes bad messages no. You give every player the option to decide who they listen
    to and who they don't banning people from everyone is not the way to do it. Thank you for listening.....hopefully.....unless this goes ignored.

    Ban Policy

    The enforcement team investigates every complaint they receive and will only issue a suspension if they have determined you have done something to violate the code of conduct. So while yes, anyone can report you, that doesn't guarantee you will be suspended.

    If you have filed for a case review & the decision was upheld then there is nothing you can do.

    Hi Lisa,

    this is a community forum and we are gamer like you.

    You will never find a perfect system. The big advantage of the Xbox system is, that we can appeal higher suspensions or bans, if we think it wasn't justified.

    I don't know any other gaming franchise that allows you to do so.

    A case review will allow you to appeal your suspension which an enforcement agent will look at your case again and determine if they can lift the suspension sooner.
