    I accidentally redeemed a $50 gift card on my old account. My real account has $10. I wanted to buy a year of Xbox gold on my account for $60 becaus it still lets me buy now that the money is seperate I can’t. Is there any way to fix this?

    You would have to try contacting support and speak to billing to see if they can do anything. http://support.xbox.com/contact-us

    Also keep in mind, it is no longer possible to purchase a 12 month subscription through Xbox. You can only buy 1 month or 3 month. You can buy 12 month codes from other retailers.

    Try the steps below to transfer the balance to your new credit card. If that doesn't work you can contact Xbox support by phone and they can transfer the balance for you.

    To transfer your services and balances to a new payment method, follow these steps:

    Sign in to the Billing and Account Management website.https://billing.microsoft.com

    Under Your payment methods, click the payment method you want to change.

    Under Payment method activity, click Go to payment method information.

    Under Payment method information for this account, click Use a different payment method.

    Click Add new credit card, and then click Next.

    Click Add new Direct Debit, and then click Next.

    On the Confirm transfer page, confirm the balances and services you want to transfer, and then click Next.

    Enter the information for the new payment method, and then click Save.
