Xbox backwards compatibility wont connect me online

It seems that you are having issue connecting your Xbox 360 profile on Xbox backwards compatible games in your console. Let us check and see on what we can do to help resolve your concern in a timely manner.

If we may ask, are you playing on Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S? Can you tell us what specific steps have you done so far to help resolve your concern?



For the meantime, you can perform these steps:

• Press the start and select button of your controller simultaneously and wait for the 360 emulator to appears on the screen.
  
• Press the Manage storage option and then continue. (an option appears asking if your would like to continue and select Yes)
  
• Select Profile> Find and press on the profile > delete Profile only> then bring up the emulator again > Download account
  

On the other hand, you can also try these steps:

1. Press the Guide button on your controller.
   
2. Go to Settings and select System Settings.
   
3. Select Storage.
   
4. Highlight but don't select a storage device, and then press the Y button on your controller for Device Options.
   
5. On the Device Options screen, select Clear Xbox 360 System Cache.
   
6. When you're asked to confirm the maintenance of your storage device, select Yes.
   
7. Restart your console and restart the game.

Blacks ops lll wont be on backwards compatibility as it was released on Xbox One.

If games have been released on 360 and on the One it wont be backward compatible.

If i remember it is a backwards compatible game,just the online wont work as the servers were shut down.

Do you have an official hard drive in your console? If not then you will need one to play backwards compatible games.

Also when you first put an Xbox 360 disc in an Xbox One that is on the backwards compatible list the console needs to be connected to the internet and online to allow it to download the backwards compatible version of the game to your console from Microsoft.
