    Xbox Backwards Compatibility - Future games list tbc?


    In terms of Backwards Compatibility, across all Generations of Xbox, 360, and One X: I still have 360 games that are not yet backwards compatible and would like to see done soon.

    Some of these games are the likes of:

    Nier

    Dragonball Z Burstlimit

    Dragonball Raging Blast 1 and 2

    Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Tenkaichi

    Dragon Ball Z Budokai HD Collection

    Dragonball Battle of Z

    El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron

    Max Payne 3

    Arcana Heart 3

    Ashes Cricket 2009

    DeadRising Series

    DMC

    SEGA Superstars Tennis

    Sonic The Hedgehog 2006

    Spider-Man: Edge of Time

    Topspin 4

    Transformers: War for Cybertron.

    Uno and Uno Rush

    I am solely holding on to my 360 just to be able to play those classics, when it would be so much better to have a Unified Console such as One X or the Series X, where we can look back at all generations and be able to play the games we want to on the most
    up to date console. I'm hoping someone on the Backwards Team will see this!

    Hi,

    I hate to disappoint you but out of all those games you mentioned, only these games have any possibility of BC:

    Arcana Heart 3

    Max Payne 3

    Dead Rising Series

    Sega Superstars Tennis

    Sonic The Hedgehog 2006

    All the rest have been delisted, meaning that Microsoft can no longer sell the original digital download of the game. Games get delisted either when the licenses attached to them expire or the publisher/developer goes under.

    The Spiderman license is currently in the possession of Sony. The Transformer game is taken from the movie franchise, licenses of which would have expired years ago.

    Topspin 4 contains real tennis arena's and tennis player likeness, I believe it also contains real sports branding. Off which is licensed from their respective owners. I don't believe 2K hold any of these licenses anymore.

    The two Sega games have no licensing issues that I know of (they are owned by Sega after all). But Sega wasn't happy with these two games and so de-listed them from the Xbox Store.

    SNK vs Capcom isn't backward compatible. There's a list of all the backward compatible games and the regions they're backward compatible in on Wikipedia for future reference.

    Tony Hawks Underground 2 and NeedForSpeed Underground 1 + 2 for Xbox One X

    Hi!

    Neither of those games are backward compatible at this time, maybe they will be added to the backward compatible list in the future.

    Hi, i have games going from the original xbox, at present none are on the list for backwards compatibility, i love my need for speed games and none of these are evennon the 360 list. Will they become backwards compatible in the future??
