Xbox avatar not updating. How can I fix this?

Just recently I got an Xbox again and wanted to change my avatar as its been 2-3 years since I've done so. However every time I try updating it, I get a message which says, 'Spmething went wrong. Try again later.' and this has been happening for 2 days in
a row. Is anyone else having this problem and how would I go about fixing this?

Do you receive a specific error code along with the "Something went wrong" message ?

Please could you try to remove your profile from the console then redownload and see if this solves your issue?

Similar thing for me, I've now got two different versions of my avatar one on the 360, one on the One, the same error comes up for me on my windows Phone if I try to change anything on there...

 

I feel your pain WaxyTerror38007, I am having the exact same issue on the Xbox One avatar store, I go to try save my avatar's customisation & it keeps giving me this "something went wrong, please try again later." Nonsense...

Well let's face it, I am frustrated with it because for me, it has been persisting for 5+ days & if Microsoft does not do anything about it, I may as well go back to playing my Nintendo 3DS For the rest of my life! (& play some Dungeon Boss on my iPad as
well.)
