    Xbox Avatar Editor won't launch


    Has anyone been having issues opening the Xbox Avatar Editor app lately? If so, could anything be done to resolve the issue? For the past couple weeks the Xbox Avatar Editor app on the Xbox One won't launch. It simply shows a loading screen and eventually
    an error that something went wrong. However, the Xbox Original Avatar app will open, and it has been working fine this entire time. The Avatar Editor also won't open on my Windows 10 computer either. I have tried different things to fix the issue, and I
    have spoken with support twice. I was directed to post here to see if anyone else has been having this problem. Another friend of mine has had this problem as well, and I was just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this or if it might be a regional
    thing. So far I have deleted the app and reinstalled it several times. I have even done a soft reset on my Xbox.

    Hi eggmily,

    I just tried both apps and they seem to work on my end. Try to power cycle your console by holding the power button for a few seconds. You can also try to remove and add your account to the console and see if that helps.

    It's been a couple months, and I've still had the same problem. I've done a soft reset again that keeps my games and apps, but that didn't work either. My console has also been updated recently, but the app still won't launch.

    Make a change to your avatar, save and try playing again.

    Note Any avatar change will do because the change causes the service to sync your account for your profile.

    Launch the Xbox Avatar Editor app.

    Xbox Avatar Editor

    Sign in and make any change to your avatar.

    Select Save.

    Xbox One Avatar Editor is no more new or free items?

    Yeah, seemed to die a death even with the release of the new editor. Shame as I loved it when they first launched. RIP in pieces Avatar Editor.
