Xbox auto deleting game files?!

ok i tried the save thing and it worked for me after i deleted the other save. So restart game on new save file, play until auto save. Quit then reload original file and save over the new save file and delete the other one and it should work

I went into the Xbox storage and deleted my last save file for Skyrim and loaded the last auto-save and it has solved the problem for now.

I don't have the game yet but I'd presume it's auto-imported?

Did you keep the save file after the BETA ended? If you deleted that I think you'll have lost your beta items.

Thanks for the information on what type of game and storage space. If the setting is enabled most disks will auto install once inserted into the console. The setting can be found on the Xbox 360 from home screen go to settings>System>console settings>Auto
play. We recommend to
clear the cache on your console. Check the storage and see if there is a file created for the game, if there is go ahead delete it as long as it isn't the save data. Then insert disk and see if the game auto installs.

The Xbox may have shut down while your world was auto-saving causing it to corrupt the file and delete it. If this is the case I don't believe it's possible to retrieve it unless you have a copy of the world somewhere else (on a computer/copy of the world)
