at the bottom of blighttown, u will need the rusted iron ring and some purple moss clump as u could get poisoned there easily. there is a swamp, u need to go to the other side and look out for a tree/path upwards. . follow the tree/branch/path up and u
will find a chest. bash the wall behind the chest and a secret passage opens up.u will also find a bonfire there. follow it all the way and u will eventually come to ash lake. u will go thru the great hollow 1st if i remember correctly. there are frogs and
other baddies along the way so wear something that is good gor curses. when u even come to ash lake there is a hydra too, u need to deal with him 1st.. there is a bonfire on ur immediate right as u enter the lake, use it. after u kill the hydra the clams
are the source of TT, they hate fire, but they are tough also so be watch out. good luck, it's not a quick easy ride, but worth it when u get there. use the covetous gold serpent ring as it boosts item discovery. GOOD LUCK!

fire pit ring or
bowl.



All it is is a decorative way to guard the surrounding area from stray ashes/coals.

one upside is that item drops have got a lot better, especially with the right ring equipped. farming twinkling t used to be a very slow chore in ash lake, now i got a hit about 1 in 3.
