Xbox April update preview

hello everyone! I was told that I was going to be able to try the xbox April update and preview it but I never got sent an email. Is there anyway that I could still preview the update? I would gladly love to try it and I would appreciate it so much!

Xbox One - April Update Issue (View Friends Online)

It may not be the April preview, the last update to the update for the April preview was 1.6g, although I not been on my xbox today so could have come through this morning.

are you in the beta preview program ?

It better be a massive update because PS4 is doing everything right. I love my 360 but my Xbox One is a disaster.

Everything from Apps to Kinect is sub-par!

I'll hold in for one more month but after that PS4.

If you recently downloaded an update on Xbox One then you are previewing the update for April. If you registered for the March beta update which went out in February then you are part of the Xbox One preview program. All future updates will be previewed
by Xbox Live Members who are in the preview program before the update goes out to all other members the following month. Think of yourself as privileged beta tester who gets to see features on Xbox One before most others do. Your basically looking for any
bugs or glitches that need fixing and report them on the forum so that Microsoft can fix them for the final update which rolls out in April. Updates look like they could be monthly on Xbox One. February, March and now April.

I'm not in the preview program. The April update for non preview program is still pending for me.

Voice messaging would come in April for preview members, but eventually for everyone in the May update, SSB. The preview members get each update up to a month early, so for them, they get the May update in April, with the June update in May, and so on...
That's simply how things roll.
